It is that time of year again when our thoughts turn to family and friends who have enriched our lives. On behalf of the International Chiropractor’s Association of Indiana, I want to extend the warmest wishes of the season to you and yours.
It is also the time of the year when your ICAI board of directors begins earnestly preparing for the upcoming legislative session. This year we face some very large challenges. Regardless of your political leanings, the election has brought political tribulations for the chiropractic profession in Indiana. Now more than ever we are relying heavily on the advice of our lobbying firm, LegisGroup Public Affairs (dba SDS Group) for strategy and direction in dealing with the imminent threat to our practice rights. The threat is real, and I hope you heed the call and ACT by contacting your elected officials.
This letter is also a call to action. By joining the ICAI and perhaps making a contribution to the Political Action Campaign you are enabling your voice; use your chiropractic voice for health, wellness and choice to be heard. We work for you and we are not paid. However, our lobbyists, like you, do not work for free and a significant part of your dues pays for their expertise. Now more than ever it is critical for your voice to be heard by our legislators. Please fill out your membership form today; take advantage of the early bird discount, and donate the cost of one adjustment per month to the PAC fund.
