Sunday Speaker: Chris Klaes Keeping up With Medicare
As a Practicing Chiropractor, Dr. Chris Klaes presentation on Medicare will cut through the clutter and give Chiropractors the needed information on ever changing Medicare system. The course will review the current Medicare issues including the Provider Enrollment Chain and Ownership System, Physician Quality System, and Electronic Records. Local Carrier Determination and National Carrier Determination update will be presented. In addition, Medicare audits and appeals will be reviewed with emphasis on required documentation including treatment plans and specific goals. The New ABN will be presented as well as Medicare Advantage Plan considerations. Version 1050 and ICD-10 will be reviewed. The seminar will conclude with Compliance Manual requirements.
